For more than a year I have given considerable thought to reviving a Modena club from the past –- the Midwest Modena Club.  Some of you may recall Darrell Bramhall and others at the helm of this once popular club in the Midwest section of the United States.  The club was centrally located in the Mason City, Iowa, area for a number of years.  After discussing the idea with a number of potential members that provided positive feedback, the Midwest Modena Club has become a reality!

The Midwest Modena Club (MMC) was established in 2006, as a nonprofit organization that includes members that share a common hobby, the Modena pigeon.  The MMC is affiliated with the International Modena Club (IMC) and the National Pigeon Association.

As an IMC-Affiliated Club member, the MMC hosts IMC sanctioned shows where exhibitors can compete for top honors, including the prestigious IMC Diploma Award.  The accepted standard at all MMC shows will be the currently accepted standard where the show is held.

We encourage you to visit this website periodically for the latest club information.  As the club expands more sections will be added for your enjoyment.

The club’s official publication is the Midwest Modena Club Bulletin, which is available to each member.  The publication consists of articles, show reports and other club information to broaden your enjoyment of the Modena hobby.

We invite Modena hobbyists to join the Midwest Modena Club for $15.00/year. 

Mr. Bill Dunn of Independence, Iowa has accepted the position of Secretary/Treasurer of the Midwest Modena Club and he looks forward to receiving your application for membership.  A membership application form is available on this website.  Membership applications must be approved by the Board of Directors and their decision will be final.
